Polo Shirts and Mowhawks!

My first full week of work in a long time! I'm exhausted. The good news is both kids did better this week at school and dance class. Zach likes to put on a show for me in the morning, but then the teacher sends me pictures on my phone to show me how much fun he is having! What a turd! Ava started potty training herself, however she just can't seem to get the concept of moving your clothes out of the way. Zach has a new obsession, polo shirts and mowhawks! Andy is taking Zach to his first Angels game tonight and they are both so excited. Hopefully he will get some good pictures (I think I have him pretty trained up, LOL!) Now, off to find some more polo shirts because the boy is recycling them and refuses to wear anything else.

Great Weekend!

I had a great weekend this weekend! I keep thinking about that instead of the fact that I have to go to work tomorrow. I spent Friday night with Tanisha getting pedicures and watching Eclipse. Yesterday I did some scrapping them met up with my girls (Peterann, Tomasa and Aurora) for dinner. Today we went to the pool, I hit the gym and I found the shoes I've been wanting for 50% off! You really can't beat it! Oh, maybe you can, Miss Ava has been going on the potty all day today with no accidents! It may be a fluke, but fingers are crossed that we will have two toddlers out of diapers. I am happy and sad at the same time. They are just growing up way to fast.

Pool Play and Funny Feet!

We met up with some of our friends from our moms group at the pool. Afterwards we went to the play area and I got this funny picture of the kids feet. From left: Sophia, Emma, Ava and Zach.

Ready for school!

We were all getting ready to bring Zach to school on Thursday and they both were being such goobers (and looked so cute!) that I had to take some pictures!

Busy Wednesday!

We had a very busy Wednesday! Zach went to school and Ava and I met up with some friends that we hadn't seen in a while at Pharoah's water park. The toddler water area was really neat, but Ava was in a horrible mood for the majority of the time we were there. In the afternoon we had a playdate at our house then we headed to the park after dinner.

Second Week Not So Good

The second week of school and dance class were not as successful as the first. Zach bawled his eyes out when I left and Ava only lasted about 10 minutes without running out of the dance room. Oh well, we will just keep on trying!

First Time Bowling!

On Monday we went bowling with our mom's group. It was the kids first time ever (and my first time in probably 10 years). Zach did really well and got the hang of it pretty quickly, I had to help Ava each time because the ball was just a little to heavy for her. The kids had a great time, but all of us moms agreed that one the kids were done after about their 5th turn!

Ava Really LOVES to Dance!

Every dancer needs to stretch!

Ballet Queen!

Tap Diva!

Getting down!

Ready to Go!

Ava had her first dance class this week! Can I just say that it was the cutest thing EVER! She was so good and was one of the best listeners for about the first 30minutes. She did much better than I really expected. Did I mention that is was wicked cute?!

Zach's First Day of School!

Ready for school with nap stuff in his backpack!

Enjoying the new toys!

Outside time on the bike was his favorite!

Zach has been going to Susie's since he was 10 weeks old. This change to "school" was big (for me at least.) He took it far better than I imagined he would. The first day I stayed with him for about 2 hours. The second day about 30 minutes and the third day it was about 10 minutes. The teachers said he did wonderfully and was a great listener. I swear this child really knows how to act and just chooses not to comply with me!

Meet the Cousins!

Orion giving his cousin a push!

Playing in Levi's crate! Who needs expensive play structures?

We finally met my cousin Luke's wife and son! I feel like I already know them so it was very easy to meet them for the first time. The kids enjoyed playing with their cousin Orion and you can see that he is definitely related to them :-)

Pageant of the Masters!

Mom and I headed down to Laguna for my 7th annual viewing of the pageant of the masters! Andy is usually my date but because mom had never been, I thought she should get the experience as well. We had a great time and she loved and appreciated it as much as I thought she would. I think it even inspired her to think about painting again :-)

Day 12-14

We spent the last two days visiting with lots of friends and family! We had such a great visit, but we were also happy to be heading home :-)

Day 11 (7/5/2010) Harbor Cruise!

Fourth of July Photos :-)

Fourth of July Fun!

We hung out with the family on the 4th and had a laid back day. Ava hates fireworks so maybe next year it will be a little more of an event :-)

Day 9-My New Tattoo!

I decided to finally cover the god awful barbed wire on my arm! Matt (the boy I used to nanny for back in the day!) is now a tattoo artist and I like to believe I had something to do with it :-) I brought him with me to get my back tattoo (aka tramp stamp) when he was little. What a good babysitter I was! I also brought him to LA for his first tattoo when he was 16, with his mom's permission of course. I love my new tat! I would have tons if I weren't in my profession.

Day 8 - Ocean Fishing and Hanging with Friends

Papa took Zach fishing on the boat for the first time! He said he had fun and these pictures show that he probably did :-) Then I went out with my friends Friday night and it was great! I love my friends and I miss them a lot.
